Why should I pay $3 to receive my income on a TRANSPARENT blockchain, and then $3 to transfer it to Lightning, when I just pay $0.10 to receive income on Monero's blockchain?

Why should I accept your arguments for Lightning when you want to disregard its own issues while pointing out unbacked claims that crypto is "slow" when the definition of slow is extremely subjective?

When you say "Crypto is slow" what part of crypto is slow? The time for confirmations? Well then fiat is extremely slow since credit cards take 60 days to get to the merchant! Transaction propgation takes 2-3 seconds which is the same as a credit card.

Monero doesn't need a L2 protocol at the moment. All valid transactions end up in the first block and if you understand when confirmations are important, for small goods (I'd say < $100), simply seeing the transaction propagated is good enough.
